Honey
Baked brie with a molten centre, drizzled with hot honey, walnuts and rosemary

A whole brie, baked until molten and drowned in hot honey, walnuts and rosemary. Put it in the middle of the table with crackers and watch it vanish — the ultimate low-effort, high-reward sharing dish.

Serves 4–6 as a sharing starter · Preparation: 5 minutes · Cooking: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 whole brie, about 250g
  • 3 tbsp Honey One Hot Honey
  • 30g walnut halves, roughly chopped
  • 1 small sprig of rosemary, leaves picked
  • A pinch of chilli flakes (optional)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette, to serve

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 180°C fan / 200°C conventional.
  2. Place the brie in a small ovenproof dish or on a lined baking tray and score the top lightly in a criss-cross pattern.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the centre feels soft and molten when pressed gently.
  4. Warm the Hot Honey in a small pan, then pour over the hot brie.
  5. Scatter over the walnuts, rosemary and chilli flakes and serve immediately with crackers.

Serving suggestion

Serve with crisp crackers, slices of apple and a glass of something cold.
